Prayers are posted for our members, our families, our friends, and everyone through the faith of Jesus Christ.

Daily, or at least three times a week, this list will be changed.

Our prayers continue as we seek a bright and blessed answer to prayer for our members, our friends, our families and more. Let us pray that pain and peril, sorrow and terror be overcome by everyone. We pray that the mistakes of yesteryear would not spill over into this new year. Let us bring peace and stability, and more love and understanding to the world around us. Let us learn to balance wisdom and love and faith and understanding with the trials and tribulations of life. As our Savior said, His peace be with us always. Amein and so it shall be.

****We pray for an end to the violence, and an end to the pain and perils of the past year as we ring in the first day of a new one. We pray for each of those who lives, whether friend or foe, that they be well and understanding this year. We pray for grace and faith that grow and hearts that survive each devastating blow. We pray for love and hope and truth at long last, a key to lock the door on the past. We pray all of this in the name of the LORD our God through His Son our Savior Jesus Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit, Amein and so it shall be.

****We pray for Brother Al and Sister Rose who have had a very tough time over the past year with their health. I just heard from Brother Al, he says he was just very, very sick and could not answer for a good while.

****Brother Wayne Bartosh's daughter JoAnn, who collapsed in her home into unconsciousness last night. She has been rushed to the hospital via ambulance. Father in heaven, we bring JoAnn and the family into prayer tonight that answers might be found and that Your hand be known in her protection and the solace of the heart for the family members. We pray this in Your Holy Name and in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ through the gift of the Holy Spirit, Amein and so it shall be.

****We pray for Brother Wayne’s eldest daughter’s mother-in-law who has stage four cancer.

****We pray for Brother Wayne’s brother, who is headed for a nursing home.

****We pray for Brother Wayne’s sister, who is currently in intensive rehabilitation after the Department of Human Services rescued her from her husband.

****We pray for Brother Wayne who is working toward surgery on his knee.

****We pray for Harley Collette, a friend of my daughter’s. She is currently on bedrest for her baby’s health. Please pray for her and her baby.

****Pastor Eric Magara Onadara brings to me this week a continued and most urgent prayer request. His home burned down recently, leaving nearly nothing amidst the ashes. He and his family have spent many a night in the cold, with or without a tent for shelter. Let us pray that something can be done to help them. There is a photo of this horrible occasion. Having been in the same situation, my heart breaks for Pastor Eric and his family right now.

****We bring a prayer that was shared with me by Rev. Lisa Tyler. She brings us Sue from the UK who has been suffering a parasite infection of yeast. Let us pray for her healing. Lord in Heaven, You have brought us so much, bring healing and comfort to Sue, that she may testify of Your love. We ask this in the name of our Holy Father and the Son and Savior Jesus Christ through the gift of the Holy Spirit, Amein and so it shall be.

****We pray for Cal Jennings as his heart has been through so much. We pray that his life has no more chaos and calamity. We pray that the Spirit wards off depression and despair in our dear friend. We pray that the Spirit brings faith, and peace, and hope back to Cal's heart and spirit and soul. We pray for good things to happen as a result of his recent surgeries and he heals up quickly. Help us to realize that the stitches of love can sew even the most broken heart together again. We hear your pain, dear friend. May the Lord help his pain from the surgery heal, and ease, as he continues to suffer from it. We pray that as Cal celebrates his birthday good things can be realized once more.

****We put several who are on our separate, but personal prayer lists, would receive all that is needed, and realize all the love that is held for each of them. New information has made for devastating news for many on this list. Lord, take the pains from the hearts and minds and bodies and souls of those who we care about and love. Take the sorrows from each of them as well.

****Prayer Request from Cynette on Multiply: Rev, I have a special prayer request. It's for my Mother, Joy Brunton. She has been in and out of the hospital so many times these past 2 weeks after her surgery. She has a slight case of dementia and lately she hasn't known whether or not if she's coming or going. So if you will please put her on your prayer list.

Father in heaven, please bring security and safety for Joy and comfort for Cynette. We pray for this in Your holy name, through our Savior Jesus Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit, Amein and so it shall be.

Cynette has come to me with new prayers for her sister, Katrina, and her niece, Julie, that their trials and tribulations, troubles and more find a solution before heartbreak would be managed.

Father in Heaven, You know the pain and the sorrow in these hearts. You know the heartbreak that has occurred, help these two and help their family support them too. We pray for this in Your holy name, through our Savior Jesus Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit, Amein and so it shall be.

****I have a friend Tina Doss, who has lost her father to cancer. Please pray for her family in their time of loss.

*****Prayer request for Joe Maloney, Food Service Director and colleague for my brother, Scott, Joe is now home but his rehabilitation continues with the inclusion of a nurse and more rehabilitation after what they term as a minor stroke. Joe is doing well with his therapy and may be released soon, Praise the Lord.

*****Prayer for Sister Mary Michel-Lynch who is in the process of having the heart procedure that has been delayed now four times. Everything is set at this point in time. She left for the hospital on Wednesday morning (2/22). Please pray they find nothing to impede the surgery.

*****Sister Mary’s caretaker, Lucia is in need of some extra prayer as she has now separated from her husband.

*****We pray for our Brother Al and Sister Rose who have been through another battle with their illnesses and have just gotten through those. Let us pray that they heal and are able to stay in touch more.

****We pray for Phoebe Lucille Fair, great granddaughter to author, and motivational speaker, Zig Ziglar. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor that has proven cancerous and has been receiving treatment and therapy. She is progressing, though she is having a great many stumbling stones, and her family needs all the prayers they can get in regard to the work with her chemotherapy. Phoebe was moved to the Oncology floor out of ICU, which is helpful, but is still struggling with so much. They have had good news, and bad news when it comes to her progress. So, let us keep the prayers going. Phoebe is 2 years and 4 months old. She is from Texas. http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/phoebefair

*****We pray for a former classmate of mine, Debbie Paulsen Flondro, who has just undergone cancer surgery. She is home, but still has a long road for recovery. Praise the Lord for this latest step as we have learned she is cancer free.

*****We continue to pray for the family of Tiffany York, age 17, who was killed in Liberty County, Georgia. Her family has been living across the street from us for many years. I will be placing a memorial for her on our Remember Me Always page. Please keep her parents, stepfather, brothers and sisters in your prayers along with the rest of the family and friends.

****We pray for Jacob Olivier and his family. We have learned that little Aaron has proven to be Jacob’s son. Aaron is living with his grandmother, Jacob’s mother now. They are still working hard to find answers in Jacob’s disappearance. His birthday would have been last Sunday. Jacob has been missing since August 2011, we pray any information reaches the right people.

***We pray in thanksgiving for our fellow ministries in Uganda, Kenya, India, and other places in this world. May the Lord bless their efforts and help us to help each other.

*****We pray for the membership and each life that we all would touch, each of us with our own trials and tribulations, that the LORD bless each of us with answers, comfort, and kindness this year in His peace and His love.

**We pray for the situation worldwide in regard to jobs and economies that are currently struggling. We pray for those who protest, that they are able to protest in peace, without violence. We pray for soldiers worldwide and for the governments, so that they might serve and protect in the best interest of the people whom they serve.

***We pray for those lost to death through the year in 2011 including Rev. Teresa Piercey-Gates, and faces we all remember like Whitney Houston, Jane Russell, Jack LaLane, Elizabeth Taylor, Amy Winehouse, Steve Jobs, Andy Rooney, Joe Frasier and still many others.
